-Students should give ample time for the faculty to complete the letter.
-Make sure to first create the letter of entry in ERAS; you will need the letter ID# in order to be able to submit the form. For Residency CAS, since the letter does not have an ID number, you can just add six 0s.
-You will need to have your CV and personal statement ready to be uploaded along with the form. You will not be able to submit the form without those two documents. (PS does not have to be the final draft; you can submit the current draft that you have available.)
-Filling out the incorrect information will delay your request for a chair letter, and you will be asked to resubmit the form
-Deadline for the student to request a chair letter will be September 1st, 2026, 5:00PM MDT
